Singapore Botanic Gardens is a place where your imagination wildly runs free, along the tall trees, the fresh scent of each green leaf it comes to life, where it seems like Peter Pan and Tinker Bell is playing hid and seek with you, while Thumbelina sings along with the breeze. It was such a wonderful place especially for people who truly admires Nature.
We walked around different kinds of trees, it felt like walking through time knowing that these trees had been here for a lot longer than I know.
I've always been fascinated with trees, each them are different, like humans we all have unique fingerprints, trees have their rings -found inside them. When you cut a tree in half you'll find the rings and that's usually points out it's age.
We passed by the Orchid Breeding & Micropropagation Laboratory. It is where the magic of science comes to Life. They looked lifeless and experimental but wait and see when they get out of that glass. Watched out for fascinating wood sculptures and water park along the way, this one is my favorite. It's a group of different kind of animals carved in details.
The Trees I saw in the Garden were enormously, radiantly beautiful, they were also as tall as the buildings we have in the city. I was startled to photograph this tree where in I decided to somehow have it on film just to see how really tall it is with my 5'11 cousin alongside- wow! I can't find the words to say, it was a splendid site to see.
