Swissotel The Stamford
Swissôtel The Stamford, at a height of 226 metres (741 ft) is one of Southeast Asia’s tallest hotels. Located in the heart of Singapore, this hotel is part of the Raffles City complex comprising two hotels, the Raffles City convention centre, Raffles City shopping centre and an office tower. It is Singapore's Luxury hotel and considered as the tallest hotel in Singapore.
How to get there:
Swissôtel The Stamford is right next to Singapore Grand Prix race track and 20 minutes away from Singapore Changi Airport. The hotel sits above City Hall subway station.
It is located at the top floor where a variety of bars and restaurants can be found. It has a great overlooking view of the city, we came there before the city lights were up and so we had a good comparison of the city before the sun comes down.
It is also one of Southeast Asia’s tallest hotels. The 5-star hotel has 1,261 rooms and suites, 16 restaurants and bars, also it includes the Raffles City Convention Centre and one of Asia's largest Spas. It's always been my routine to visit the comfort room like almost in every places we go to, especially hotels and resorts. I was pleased with their washing area, even thou it's really plain simple but the small couch I've found at the corner was a great touch.
The sun has said goodbye and the City Lights were slowly coming to life.
