Sightseeing in Malapascua Island Cebu, Philippines

Malapascua Island

The first thing we did when we step on the island was of course, take lots of pictures of ourselves, and look for spot where we can meet our tour guide, a friend of my cousin. I saw this flower and it seemed lost in the tree, it was all alone, away from the other flowers, but it looked quiet beautiful being alone up there. While waiting, we freshened up, use the bathroom and eventually was ready to go for our first activity on our list.

How to get there: Cebu City-Malapascua Island

Terminal: North bus Terminal
Ceres Bus bound for Maya via Bagay route
Non-air conditioned : 163 php
Travel time: 2-3 hours.
Maya Port Boat fare: 80 php. If low tide the boat will not be able to dock along the seashore, you'll have to ride a small boat that will take you to the bigger boat. Transfer fare to a bigger boat fare: 20 php.

We had rented a house worth 2500 php just along the Church, we had a huge discount from 4000 php, what a relief I didn't brought with me enough cash. Seaside rooms are worth three times the price, which is way beyond our budget. As soon as we are able to leave our bags securely unattended in our rented house, we immediately hit the beach.
