La Carmela de Boracay , Philippines

Boracay is located at the northwest tip of Panay Island in the Western Visayas region of the Philippines.

A Paradise for pure pleasure and relaxation. A place where you can wear less as you can, seat back and relax. It's one of the most favorite destination for locals and tourist here in the Philippines. It's a very popular island almost all over the world and being there for the second time was a blast.

Booked a plane ticket bound for Caticlan upon arrival a 15 minutes ride will get you to the ferry. A boat ride will take you to the island of Boracay. At the counter pay your boat fare: 25 php, terminal fee: 50 php and environmental fee: 75, for a total of 150 php and you'll get your ticket to the island .of/ Boracay.

It was a bumpy ride the waves were strong but we made it through with only a few water spills on my shirt and bag. It was a ride that really powered up my longing to be in Boracay again. A lovely Christmas carol welcomed us when we arrived at the port area, it surely had fired up my Christmas spirit. When we stepped on the island we took a tricycle going to our hotel, 100 php for 'pacquiao' (if you want to pay for all the seats) or if you preferred to wait for the tricycle to fill up with passengers then that will only cost you 20 php per head.

We stayed at La Carmela de Boracay, my cousin knew someone from there and so we had incredible experience with a great discount too.
La Carmela de Boracay.
Address: Station 2, Balabag, Boracay Island, Boracay, Philippines

It's not just accessible from the port area, it is also located at the center of the island in Station 2 where the fun and party collides with a great fusion of good food and cheap shopping stalls. What I love most about the hotel is that its just a few steps away from thet refreshing, shining, glittering white sand beach of Boracay.
