Nirwana Gardens Resort
How to get there: SIngapore to Bintan, Indonesia
From Singapore's Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal we took the Bintan Ferries Resort and traveled the sea for 1 hour and 45 mins. to the Bintan Island. It is a must to be there 1 hour and a half before the departure time to avoid the same incident like ours. We will be just staying for sure inside the resort but in case we need cash it's better to prepared, good thing inside the ferry there's a money changer. 1 SGD=7,885.54 IDR (Indonesian Rupiah)
Bintan Island or Negeri Segantang Lada is an island in Indonesia and located on the northern coast of Bintan Island in the Indonesian Riau Archipelago is the famous Nirwana Gardens. It has wide land area of 330 hectares filled with tall trees and plants and a coastal line of white beaches. Nirwana offers two-way coach transfer from the Bintan ferry terminal going to the Resort so just sit back and relax.
On our way out of the van sunny-filled smiles greeted us with an ethnic Welcome Dance that made us want to go wild and dance with them. Welcome drinks were also served to ease the heat of the weather, a strawberry taste like pale raspberry tickled our taste buds- it was really good.However we were not thoroughly informed about the Elephant Ride schedule, so next time it's really important to contact your resort activity personnel to make sure all the rides are available.
It was worth every penny we have for it included an all-in-pass for:
* 1 round of Elephant Ride
* 1 round of Horse Ride
* 1 round of Archery
* 1 round Air Rifle Shooting
* 60mins Kayaking
* 60mins Body Board
* 60mins Table-Tennis
* 1 time Flying Fox
