How to get there : Philippine Embassy in Singapore

I've never been good with directions and getting lost is just a waste of time, unless you're on a Europe trip.

First thing: BOOK an ONLINE APPOINTMENT to process any papers with the embassy.

This is a guide walk through the jungles of Orchard Road to the land of the Philippine Embassy, where endless papers works flies around in each corner. Let's go!

Address: 20 Nassim Rd, Singapore 258395

How to get there: BY FOOT
Exit from ORCHARD MRT

Find the exit where you'll pass by Citibank.

Next find the Rubi Outlet outlet, a few steps away from the bank. Beside it pass through the small tunnel , you'll never miss this because loud music is played in the area.

Walk Straight. A BIG yellow sign near two escalators will greet you.

FOLLOW THE ARROW pointing to Shaw House/Wheelock Place.

Images will be shown from this point onwards for your convenience.

Pass Tunnel

Escalator out of MRT leads to Isetan Mall

Walk pass by Shaw Building and TCC Connoisseur.

Thai Embassy

Far East Shopping and Hilton Hotel is just across the street

Cross the pedestrian lane from Orchard Tower

Across the street you can see ORCHARD PARK HOTEL

If you're taking the BUS then alight at this bus stop

Now continue walking. If you're standing near DELI ORCHARD then it only means you're almost there.

This is the right way that will lead you closer to the embassy.

Take the small path. You'll see TANGLIN SHOPPING CENTRE and a laundy shop named For the love of laundry nearby.

Walk straight pass the laundry shop across the street.

Keep walking as you enjoy seeing nice estates in the streets of Nassim Jade, Seven, Nashvile and Sage.

A few more metres away you'll find the small establishment of the Philippine Embassy.

Itinerary Reminders:

1. Flight Details
Make sure to write down your booking reference number, be at the airport two hours before your flight and allocate time for your travel to the airport.

2. Accommodation Details
Write down your hotel/motel/resort/bnb booking number. Contact your place to inform them around when you'll be arriving — it really does help.  Also, ask if your accommodation has any discounted activities.  You'd be surprised!

3a. Transportation
List possible times your bus/train/boat arrives and leaves so you don't miss an activity.  Always give yourself an extra 30-45 minutes in case you get lost, get stuck in traffic, or are looking for parking.  Better early than late.  Of utmost importance: check for the last trip and fares!  So you still have time and money to get back.

3b. Car Rentals
Take note of your pick-up address and time allotted.  Our last car rental told us to bring the car back by a certain time with a certain amount of gas.  Allot money for fuel and parking.

4. Budgeting
Set aside a minimum and maximum spending amount for: meals, transportation, entrance fees, activities, souvenirs and emergencies.  3 meals a day + snacks adds up quickly, so keep track!  As well as tips for restaurants and activities.

5. Activities
Call to confirm your booking(s) a day or so beforehand.  Set alarms and/or calendar reminders for things you plan to do (i.e- bungee-jumping, river-rafting, or even city / food tours).

Do you want more adventure?

If you still have one more day to spare why not go for a Foodventure in Singapore.

Where am I going next?

My next adventure is Joining the Spartan Race and here's a post about "Why you should join the Spartan Race too."

  1. A blog must be connected to the person in need. It is really important to understand the actual feel of such necessity and the essence of objective behind it. Author must give proper time to understand every topic before writing it.
